Yikes! I had planned on doing a few more updates than I have up till now. There has been lots of activity going on behind the scenes here at bridgewaterlions.org:
- There is now a contact form for people who are interested in getting more information about Lions.
- I finally got the caching software installed, so pages should be displaying MUCH faster now.
- I’ve decided to re-enable comments. I have all the anti-spam protection in place so it should be OK. I’ll be keeping an eye on it.
- Information has been posted about all of the clubs here in Bridgewater.
So now that all that administrivia is out of the way, I can get back to posting useful info about the Lions clubs of Bridgewater. More updates to follow soon!

I’m officially biting the bullet today and taking the new site live. There may still be a few tweaks as time goes by, but there’s no reason not to go live, so… here it is!

Work has been continuing in the background for the past couple of weeks. I now have the photo gallery working, so I’ll be able to turn over control of photo uploads to each individual club. I think I have all of the plug-ins I need. Just a few more last minute items to take care of before I officially make this site live and take down the old one…

Well, after far too long a time, I’ve finally gotten around to updating the website. I’m ashamed to say it hasn’t been updated since last October. That won’t happen again. It’s a new year (well, actually, it’s the end of the 2006-2007 fiscal year).
In any case, the website has been completely redesigned. It will be much easier to maintain. With a little luck, I can even hand-off administration of the various club sites to members of the individual clubs! We’ll see how it goes…
There will be a few more upgrades/extensions before I can officially call things finished, but we’re very close. If you want to keep abreast of the various “happenings” to can subscribe to the RSS news feed for this page and you’ll instantly be notified of any new info that’s published. (For those of you that don’t know what an RSS news feed is, don’t worry. I’ll talk about that in the future. If you can’t wait, just google RSS.)
